Latin Soul Dance Projects was found in 2008 and is co-directed by Cynthia La China & Hector Peña who share the same passion for 70s classic Salsa Latin soul music. Together they fused their unique styles and individual flavors to bring to audiences sizzling dance entertainment & spellbinding Latin musical experience.
Cynthia & Hector has years of dance training and performance experiences in Argentine Tango, Ballet, Ballroom, Cha Cha, Hustle, Latin Jazz, Salsa, Swing and especially NYon2 club-style Mambo. In fact, their trainers are a Who's Who of the best Mambo/Salsa instructors in town including Eddie Torres, Duplessey Walker, Frankie Martinez, Karisma Dance Company, Revelation Dance Company, SantoRico Dance School, just to name a few.
Since the year of 2000, they have been sharing their passion for Salsa dancing to multi-genaration citizens and dedicating their energy to promote their love for classic Salsa/Latin rhythms to multi-cultural audiences. Currently they teach group classes and private lessons at Champions Studio located at 257 W.39 Street, 14/floor, NYC.
